Major Purpose


The Clinical Sales Liaison will work directly with case managers and discharge planners to acquire and process home infusion referrals within the hospital systems and independent practices. This position has a sales responsibility and is managed by the Director of Sales.

Pay range


$85,200 - $108,600 annually, depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical education and manage marketing services to clinics, hospitals, and physician referral sources.
  • Assess and coordinate, in partnership with Case Managers and Discharge Planners, home infusion services to assist with determining the plan of care administered by Emerging Health, under the direction of the patient’s provider.
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission to services.
  • Assist with providing patient and caregiver training on therapy, monitoring, and side effects; demonstrate procedure for administering therapy in the home, with a return demonstration from the patient / caregiver.
  • Maintain and grow facility customer relationships and provide responsive customer service with assigned accounts; evaluate current and future clinical and service needs for existing and new accounts.
  • Conduct in-services and continuing education programs for referral sources and / or their support staff, partner with the Director of Sales on presentations to current and potential accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and referral sales goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Position Proficiency Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in Oregon and Washington required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or another related field strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Formal sales training preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Infusion Nursing standards (INS) and nursing process
